Before you make a purchase, do some research on the piece of technology you want to buy. This helps ensure you’re not overpaying but also lessens the chances of coming up short on necessary system components.
“You need to know the retail price of the item you are looking to buy so you do not overpay,” says Jonathan Bickel, Used Precision Ag. “Remember, the main reason you are buying used is to save money.”
He also cautions that there is more to a piece of technology than just the main component. “Cabling can be a nightmare without the proper research,” he says.
